Dunno. Charles's hot motor is a 170 I think....and the Bermudans use the Sport motors (if you accept them as Seagulls)...and the QB Kingfisher is allegedly the most powerful of the 'classic' motors.....these are only observations, not opinions..!

I think the Century 100 is the best platform for mods, because the sideport does not interfere with the thrust face of the bore Having said that, it's probably the lamest motor in standard trim

I'd never rubbish another mans idea, But I would say in my opinion I don't think it's likely to fly . The funny thing is ..... It might ! Having said that . It doesn't matter what model you race as long as it's in a class that interests you and at least one other person. Preferably where a check book and expensive processes don't come into play . For that reason the standard 102 class interests me . the bigger models they run in Bermuda aren't freely available here and take more sophisticated engineering. As much as I love the 102 motor , the sliver century is probably easier to tinker with , as is the prop which in the standard class is where most of the gains are to be made ?

Tony Posting photos can be a bit tricky If your photo is a JPG file on your computer, then, press the 'choose file' button to select your photo. You can only attach 1x photo by this method. Also, You must attach your file in the original posting, you cannot edit in a photo later. Photos posted by this method first appear as a thumbnail. Photos come out better if you photo is a URL internet link (to 'photobucket.com' or similar). Press the 'Insert Image' icon & paste the URL link between these two pieces of coding [/img]

All shapes of water craft...one of the most fun of the Seagull races was the Poker run...had to go to 5 different docks in the bay...a map was given...each dock gave out one card to the racers and the best poker hand won...the contestants crisscrossed each other in the bay...Squirt guns and water canons came into play...
