The idea has been raised about the introduction of a new 'Auxiliary Class' for Seagull events
Basically it would accommodate runabouts & yachts, where the seagull is usually the auxiliary drive.
This might open encourage more new people to participate
What's the thought on this?

Sound ok to me but maybe time or minimum speed expectations should be attached

Hi Rex , I think that seagull events held through out the year are mostly aimed at more a social gathering and in the past we haven't cared what people turn up with , weather its a seagull or a modern boat or outboard , the more the merryer I'd say , most of the time these boats are our support boats which are able to carry family and friends which normally would not be able to come along ,

Didn't we have this a few years ago Phil with his yacht and somebody with a runabout that had a 50 Mec with no bottom end
