I thought it would be interesting to know how members come up with there user names, so I'll get the ball rolling with mine. I think "cobba" is commonly an Aussie name for mate or friend but I call myself this because I have a 1962 Commer Cob. I look forward to meeting members in events in the near future. Peter.

When i was looking at seagull racing on one of the info sheets it said you must display a number or symbol to be recognised on the side of the boat . My dog is a Chihuahua and I developed a pirate type logo based on that and called the boat Chilli dog racing , chillies being hot , Mexican ,like the dog and the play / joke on the pirate flag .

I got mine from my dog, his name was Cobba and I referred to him as Cobbadog. He is long gone now but I still miss the best dog I have ever had so I figured I would imortalise him as me. He truly was my best mate and went with me everywhere. I was in earthmoving and he would sit all day on the machines I would operate from backhoes, excavators, bull dozers and front end loaders. He never fell off and I don't know how he didn't sometimes .

Nickname "Blista"! so named by friends who reckon I turn up after the work is done. Completely false accusation! The harder one protests, the more it is used!

I use Smiler in an attempt to cover up the fact that I'm an obnoxious old moaner who is totally unreliable , mean, selfish , can't be trusted and is unsurprisingly friendless. However, that info is only for fellow members on site here.

Todd is what my mother named me. However I have been called many other names, none of which I care to share with you. For the purposes of this forum, think of me, Todd, as an extremely handsome, highly intellegent, captivatingly charming guy who, ironically, happens to have a fondness of British Seagulls.

BayRaider, I work for KiwiRail and the last train over to Rotorua was called The Bayraider. I go that way to the Bay with my Seagull so hence BayRaider

Chilli-Dog Steady on. A bit hard on Todd there. Especially being new & all You're supposed to gently lull him into a false sense of security, & then unleash hell. You get more destruction that way. LOL

Nothing fancy with my username, it is my amateur radio callsign.
